With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
A print job is stuck in the Windows or macOS print queue and prevents further print jobs from printing. The buttons might be grayed out or do not respond to input. Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved. Run the Diagnose & Fix tool in the HP Smart app for Windows and macOS.
